Privacy Policy

Luce (“we”, “us”) is a voice-first sales operating system for field teams, operated from Bengaluru, India and available at luce.mihirgupta.dev. This policy explains what we collect when you use Luce, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We use these only to identify you and show you to your teammates.
• CRM data you enter. Companies, contacts, leads, tasks, notes, visit logs and voice notes you or your teammates add. This data belongs to your organization.
• Gmail (optional, read-only). If you connect Gmail from Inbox or Settings, we read messages to match them to your contacts and leads and to suggest follow-ups. We never send, delete or modify mail.
• Google Calendar (optional). If you connect Calendar, we read your events to show upcoming meetings and, only after you confirm, create events you asked Luce to schedule.
• Location (optional). When you log a field visit, the browser may share your current position so the visit is recorded where it happened. You can decline and enter the place by hand.
• Files. Attachments and recordings you upload are stored in object storage (Cloudflare R2).
• Technical. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) needed to run and secure the service. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

• To run Luce: store your CRM records, keep your pipeline in sync and show it to the people in your organization.
• To draft records from your voice notes, mail and meetings using AI models. Every AI-proposed change is shown to you as a structured suggestion; nothing is sent outside Luce (an email, an invite, a message) without your confirmation.
• To send you reminders and notifications you have opted into.
• To keep the service secure and to investigate abuse.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your data to train AI models.

Google user data and Limited Use

Luce’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail and Calendar data is used only to provide the features described above, is never transferred to third parties except as needed to provide those features (for example, to an AI provider to summarise a message you asked about), is never used for advertising, and is never read by humans except with your explicit permission, for security purposes, or where required by law.

You can disconnect Google at any time from Settings or from your Google Account permissions. Disconnecting deletes the stored tokens immediately.

AI processing

Voice notes, and the mail or meeting content you ask Luce to work on, are sent to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI or Google, depending on configuration) to be turned into structured records. The AI never has direct access to our database; it only sees the content needed for the request, and its output is treated as a proposal you review. Voice is transcribed in your browser where possible.

Storage and security

Data is stored in MongoDB Atlas and Cloudflare R2. Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and are never written to logs. Access to an organization’s data is limited to members of that organization, enforced on the server for every request.

Sharing

We share data only with the providers needed to run Luce — hosting, database, object storage, Google APIs, maps and the AI provider — each bound to process it on our behalf. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

Retention and deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your organization uses Luce. Organization admins can delete records at any time. To delete your account, your organization, or any connected Google data, email us at mihirgupta0712@gmail.com; we will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent for optional connections at any time. Write to mihirgupta0712@gmail.com.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify signed-in users.
